G-4 Europe

The co-operative venture between the four major Dutch cities of Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht - known as the G-4 - has an EU representation office in Brussels. The G-4 EU Office was established in 2003, since the European Union has become ever more important for large cities in Europe, with administrative powers increasingly shifting from national governments to the European Union. The G-4 EU Office is an integrated part of the national political and technical co-operation of the four cities aiming to promote their common interests.

The G-4 office is located in the heart of the European district in Brussels, in the “House of European Cities”. The G-4 share offices with regional and local representations such as 11 other European cities and representative organisations like Eurocities, and CEMR.
